| My friend, Wanda, and I recycled this old bowling ball into a fairy ball for her niece, who adores fairies. The two fairies were purchased from Family Dollar for $1 apiece. Silver glitter, blue flat glass marbles, a candle holder for a base, and little Lauren's name on it completed the piece. She later painted the base silver to match the embellishments.

| I love love love it! What a great idea. I've got an old bowling ball that's about the same color and you just gave me a great idea what to do with it. I think I'm going to do something in a mermaid theme. Thanks for sharing! |
