Gift fo 60th birthday

Posted by deedeebaker (My Page) on

I need some help. Invited to a 60th birthday party and I would like some help with ideas. Say maybe something I could make in a basket or something funny. This person is fun but has just about everything you can have so I'm at a loss as to what to get. Not sure about hobbies, etc. Thanks for any help you can give....

If he has a sense of humor like my DH. For my hubby's 50th b-day we got him a 12 pack cooler, but instead of beer we put depends. polygrip, denture cup, a old fart mug, aspercreme.asprin,a pair of reading glasses, small heating pad. LOL and more, It was shucked full of stuff. He loved it. Oh yeah, we did put 1 beer.

Kattydid, what a great "over the hill" gift for your DH.

DeeDee, your friend might love to receive a gift card from a supermarket or other store he/she frequents regularly. How about a movie pass to a local theater, you could make up a basket with some popcorn, candy, etc.

RE: Gift fo 60th birthday

On my DH's 60th - a cousin gave him 5 frig pacs of Coke -- 60 cans; another gave him 5 doz. homemade cookies = 60; neighbors gave him 60 bottles of water. He loved these gifts -- and they were practical and consumable.
