Fabric to glass glue

I'm wanting a clear glue to glue fabric to glass. It needs to be water resistant so the item can be wiped clean. Any ideas?

I looked at the site "this to that" and they recommend weldbond or hot glue. Weldbond shouldn't get too wet, and hot glue would be bumpy.
I think I would glue the fabric onto the glass with modpodge (which is white glue with a bit of acryllic urethane in it) and finish it off with acrylic urethane on top once it has dried. I think acrylic is the word for water based, "urethane".
