I found some stuff on the net called FabriCraft. Is that what you use to make fabric have an adhesive back?

I have found 8½ x 11 sheets of double stick adhesive before. You can adhere one side to the fabric, cut out your pattern, then remove the other side and stick it to the box or bag.

Something that also works is Wonder Under (or Heat & Bond). That is an iron on product, not sticky. But it works great for embelishing paper bags.

I've seen adhesive backed felt at the craft store...

but it's crappy felt.

I make my own, honestly...

adhesive spray for crafty things (covering boxes, etc) and wonder under, stitch witch, or one of the other fusible webs for wearables.

gives me infinate selection.

I also use the fusible to reinforce the occasional scrap of antique fabric I wind up with :)

GardenGirl, I did see small sheets of adhesive, as you described, at the craft store today, but no FabriCraft. I really didn't want to have to bother with an iron and WonderUnder to adhere fabric to a bag or box, but if necessary, I guess I could.

chinacat, does adhesive spray work well for adhering fabric to boxes and bags and such? I've never used it I don't think.
