I did it!! I made him a couple of years ago and hang him out after Christmas. Not the best, but it's my first time, so hopefully I'll learn LOL.

thanks luvs and oddie...he is made from the same McCalls pattern as the pumpkin. I could have taken a clearer picture of him, though. I've got one more that I made from that same pattern. That one is Uncle Sam with his stars and stripes, but I'll post that around July 4th.

Awesome, you really did a great job on this - and the scarecrow in the other post. I don't think it needs any more raffia, I think it's fine just like it is.
