Just finally got this painted and hope to have it put out next weekend in time for the new martins...

| Beautiful job! Iam sure the martins will love it, just a question why are the martins house always painted white? seems thats the only color I see, as you can tell I dont know much about birds. TFS oddie |

| Oddie I am not sure why they are always white.. but all that I have ever seen have been painted white.. so I did mine that way too, I did not make this one.. a father of one of my son's friends did and the little spaces in front of each hole is for the babies to stand in while they are getting their flying wings.. so to speak.. LOL.. I will try to get pics of the Purple Martins once they arrive.. gosh, I guess I will have to have room service for them and turn down their beds. and so forth.. LOL Thanks |
