My varnished Peeps from my garland last year look pretty decent as well-- and have stayed rock-hard-- well-mummified by the topcoat. :)

Glad to hear that it survived storage for a year okay. Did you store it in a zip lock bag or just wrapped in tissue?

Actually it is just hanging from a hook on the corner of a shelf unit I have in my garage. I really haven't pulled out anything to use. I did get a cute E basket at the $ store and some egg picks and made a cute E Basket for the table but just can't seem to get in the mood this year. DS is coming in town in a week or so to help with a major "cleaning out"
