Napkin Holder Ideas

I've decided that I want a napkin holder to keep on my kitchen table. Something to hold the whole pile of napkins - not individual napkin rings. I thought this could be something I could craft at home. But I need some inspiration -I'm kinda envisioning something I could make with some mismatched plates. When I google search I'm mostly coming up with individual napkin rings.

Has anyone made a napkin holder? Can you post some photos. Inspire me.

I love the idea of using plates. I've never done it tho. Good luck and post pics!

It seems to me that you could attach 2 plates to a base similar to this one. (With plates instead of the metal rings)

Thanks Kathy. I like that. Trying to think of something creative I can use for the base.

Cut two sides out of a quart milk jug. glue that to a salad plate, or small dessert dish and glue two plates to the sides,,,,,
