Glue question!

I'm recovering a tabletop display - the kind with hinged panels that you mount photos, etc. to with hook-and-loop fasteners. (The hook part, anyway... didn't want to use any brand names and get anyone mad at me!) The original fabric cover was mounted to the panels with spray glue. I've pulled most of the old fabric off and plan to put new fabric on, but don't know the best method to adhere the new fabric to the panel - there is still some spray glue residue on the panels. Any suggestions are MOST welcome!

I'd do a light sanding to get old glue off. As far as what to do next with new fabric. Well I'm sure someone can give better suggestions then I. Maybe go back with spray glue again or Mod podge...

I am not sure, but wouldn't Mod Podge harden to the point you wouldn't be able to pin things through it? Or maybe I'm not quite sure what kind of base you are dealing with. I'd say if the original was made with spray glue, then I'd go with that again. Good luck!
