Cardboard Storage Boxes

Posted by annabell40 (My Page) on

I'm hoping for some suggestions. I need to make a few storage boxes and I have some really nice, but totally boring ones that I was planning to cover or paint. My preference is paint but, since they are made out of cardboard, I'm wondering if once I apply the paint the cardboard will bend and look funny. What do you guys think?

Thanks :)

RE: Cardboard Storage Boxes

I would assume since they are made for storage they are of a hard carboard, use a spray sealer frist, and you shouldnt have any trouble, another idea would be to cover with wall paper, you can pick up rolls cheap in the discounted patterns, use wallpaper paste, so you dont wet the box anymore then you have to, you could also use fabric the same way.
hopefully others will pop in and give you more info.
