You're right, those are cute. I wish I had given more attention to Mom when she was teaching us to knit and crochet. I've long forgotten how to do even the basic knit and pearl steps.

Hey! Craftylady......I had my Mother-in-law show me how to crochet lots of times but I could never seem to really catch on. So, when I was expecting my first baby I thought I should learn how to do this so I could make all those cute sweaters and stuff. So, I got a book and sat myself down and DID IT ! Ha, was I proud! Did the same with knitting, got a book and learned. Now years later I'm doing these things. One thing I can do and watch TV at the same time !
