Recipe for cinnamon rose hips...

Posted by fivefootzero (My Page) on

I'm searching for a recipe for cinnamon scented rose hips to make sachets with. I have a few wire baskets too that I'd like to fill with them. We just moved in to a house and I'd like to put them in the closets to get rid of the mustiness.

Can anyone share or point me in the right direction?

You'll need fragrance oil or Essential Oil. Pour the hips in a jar, and pour in a bit of the oil..cover and shake..Let it sit for a few days in a cool dark place, then fill up a tulle or cotton bag. Good to go.

Thanks so much for the reply. Are there any oils better than others that I should look for?

I'm new to this, so bear with me!

Well for just scenting hips. Doesn't much matter. You could check Walmart or Michaels.
If you give me your state, I can send you in the direction of a quality fragrance oil supplier as near you as possible.

I live in Central, NJ. About 20 minutes west of Newark Airport.

Thanks so much. I didn't realize that I could get those scented oils in Walmart or Michaels.
