| It's a fine mesh stainless cylinder, perhaps 6 inches in diameter, with an angled,rubber-coated handle. Perfect in size for 1 or 2 servings. It works well for all types of pasta. |

| Here's one with the handle you describe: Stainless Pasta/Blanching Basket I've seen a larger diameter one on a restaurant supply website, but IIRC it was close to $100. |

| The larger pasta basket (and it isn't much larger) is here . It's $100.12 and is 6-1/2'' OD x7'' H for that amount I'd just get 2 of the smaller ones :-) |

| Ikea has these, for just a few bucks! I have two of them, one large and one small, both stainless steel. |
