Anybody know where we can buy the pasta drainer insert used at the California Pizza Kitchen?

Could you describe it? I have never paid attention to that.

It's a fine mesh stainless cylinder, perhaps 6 inches in diameter, with an angled,rubber-coated handle. Perfect in size for 1 or 2 servings. It works well for all types of pasta.

Is this the type of thing you are looking for?

Here is a link that might be useful: Noodle Stainer?

Pasta/Blanching basket

Here's one with the handle you describe:

Stainless Pasta/Blanching Basket

I've seen a larger diameter one on a restaurant supply website, but IIRC it was close to $100.

Melic and Homepro01, both of these are close to what I saw. Thank you. I think the Stainless Pasta/Blanching Basket might fit the bill.
Melic, could you possibly identify the restaurant web site for the larger one?
Thanks both. I appreciate your time and help.

The larger pasta basket (and it isn't much larger) is here .

It's $100.12 and is 6-1/2'' OD x7'' H

for that amount I'd just get 2 of the smaller ones :-)

Ikea has these, for just a few bucks! I have two of them, one large and one small, both stainless steel.
