Manual for Old WestBend Slow Cooker?

Does anyone know where I can get a copy for an old WestBend slow cooker (non-stick, electric, rectangular shape), that's got an electric base unit and then a pan with a glass cover (maybe 3 quart???).

The manufacturer's site has nothing available for this and I can't find it on any web search!

This has been sitting around since I married my husband, and he has no idea where it came from. The outside of the pan is enamel, with a blue flowery deco design - you can tell it's kind of vintage. I guess it still works, but I want to have a manual to refer to if I decide to use it.

There is no model number on this... just some numbers that are hard to read.

I don't have the manual but I did have that same slow cooker before we had our house fire. I have purchased two other slow cookers since then and cannot find one I liked as much as that one.

I loved starting food on the range and then transferring it to the base. Great slow cooker!

sorry to hear about your house fire... well, West Bend finally wrote me back and want $4 for a xerox copy of the manual. But now I'm wondering, I washed it and noticed some scratches in the coating! Should I even use it? If so, in what capacity? Would anyone use it with one of those reynolds bags? And what kind of meal could I concoct? If not, is there a place to recycle teflon products?
