| I own a Lagostina cookware set and I'm intrigued by the possibility of bacterial buildup between the rivets' base and the interior of the pot wall.
I have recently sent a comment to this effect to customer service...with the classic response that I was the first one to mention this. They are nonetheless forwarding my comment to the proper authorities.

| Not familar with cookware by brands. I can remember cheap aluminum pans with rivets years ago. Are your handles loose? Do they wobble? My thought would be that when heating the food to the correct temperature inside the pan, that the area where the rivet is will also get that hot. Probably get hot way before the food does and kill any germs. |
