De Buyer sticky

My de Buyer has developed a sticky spot on one side of the pan. It was nearly non- stick and the other night someone left a damp pan lid on top of it all night. In the morning, it had a tiny bit of rust so I scrubbed it and added a new coat of ooil.
I usually scrub with salt and add a light coat of coconut oil after each use.
Please help, I really love this pan! At least I know they're pretty indestructible so I'm not too upset, yet.

RE: De Buyer sticky

"...pretty indestructible..." except you're reporting rust?

If there's a warranty you can take advantage of, do that. Otherwise, it's toast.
