| A few months ago I bought a pizza peel while traveling. Yesterday it broke completely apart along one of the two seams (it was three pieces of wood glued together). I looked around locally today, and the only peels I can find are made exactly the same. I'm wary of buying another one just to have the same thing happen; is there a source for a decent but not too costly peel made of one solid piece of wood?

| The restaurant supply near us has two kinds, if I remember correctly. One type is made from one piece of wood. The other is a metal paddle with a wood handle. They have several different sizes, too. |

| I have the big solid piece of wood one. I believe I got mine at World Market. |

| I've owned this one with a wooden handle and metal paddle for over 10 years. I bought it at a restaurant supply store. Ann |
