| Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a deep fat fryer REALLY clean on the inside when you clean it? Maybe there is no solution but I just hate to take the thing apart to clean it and find the inside looks terrible when I get done. Mayhbe the grease along the sides is there to stay but I sure would like to have it look like it HAS been cleaned. I tried filling it will very hot water with a lot of Dawn liquid dishwashing detergent and let it soak for about an hour, also tried SOS pads, even tried baking soda. I'm out of ideas what to use. Maybe DISHWASHER detergent would work. just would like to hear what everyone else uses . thanks in advance. BT |

| Don't deep fat fry much. Had one of theo fry "baby/daddy" things years ago. Even though had non-stick interior, got kinda gunky and pretty much impossible to REALLY clean. When I do fry, it's usually sahllow... inch or so of oil in cast iron Dutch oven. Would love to find a DEEP cast iron skillet... like for chicken. |
