| I was in Williams-Sonoma last week looking at Le Crueset when I saw a new cookware by All-Clad. They only have 3 pieces right now but I bought the 7 quart Oval Oven instead of a Le Crueset, Staub or other cast iron because I just felt the weight was going to be too much for me on larger pieces. I really liked the weight of the WS piece so I bought it. I cooked a delicious oven beef stew in it last night and an oven chicken w/rice dinner tonight and I'm totally pleased with my purchase!! So, for anyone else who really wants the cast iron dutch ovens but are concerned about the weight (and/or price) this might be an alternative for you as well. It's supposedly a Williams-Sonoma exclusive I think.
Anyway.... here's a link if you want to check it out. All-Clad Cast Aluminum Oval, Round and AuGratin Judy |

| Oh, forgot to mention in the first post.... The cover for the 7 quart oval oven fits the Gratin. |
