Demeyere Ecoglide vs. Multiglide?

Posted by kitchendetective (My Page) on

Searching for an induction-compatible, 91/2" to 11" pan for large omelets for a summer kitchen that will have only one burner (free-standing induction). What do you recommend? I haven't used any non-stick in years, but I am considering it. Also, anyone understand the difference between Ecoglide and Multiglide? Recommendations?

RE: Demeyere Ecoglide vs. Multiglide?

I have some pieces of Demeyere although they are neither ecoglide or multiglide. They work well on my induction and I love them although they were ridiculously expensive. My cast iron and le creuset are great too. The Demeyere is very easy to clean. I don't think you have to spend that much money to get an induction pan for omelets. I know I'm not really answering your question but at least you have a point of reference from someone using induction and Demeyere.
