Good news -- frying pan search

I had posted a question about this about a month ago. I was looking for a 12-inch skillet, one that was made well and would cook well.

When I was in a local warehouse store (BJ's) recently, they had a 12-inch Oneida skillet w/clear, vented lid on sale -- marked down to $15! I have used it several times since then, and it cooks like a dream -- is easy to wash, too. It can even be washed in the dishwasher.

I am so glad I happened to check the warehouse store. They also had a great deal on a Crock Pot (the name brand) -- 7 quart size, oval shaped, with a 'warm' setting so I can keep food warm without scorching it, travel cover, small "dipping crock pot" accessory -- all for $30!

I think the upcoming holidays may be the reason for these great deals. They already had Thanksgiving supplies out, and decorated Christmas trees too.

I highly recommend Oneida cookware to anyone who's looking for well-made cookware which will cook well.

I have one Oneida pot which I got for $10! Couldn't resist the price. It does cook well, but doesn't have a curved pouring edge around it. I find that's a real negative. But for $10, who's complaining?
