Hi: I love my Lodge 12" square grill pan for grilling meat and fish. However, I am often cooking for just two and would prefer a small cast iron grill pan (2 reasons: lighter weight, and bec. of my kitchen's modest size/storage capacity I have to store the 12" pan in the basement which can be a pain). Thus, I'd like to buy a smaller grill pan suitable for just grilling 2 steaks, 2 pieces of salmon. Any ideas as to who makes one? I saw that Lodge makes a 5" skillet, but I'd prefer I don't see a small grill pan. Thanks for any suggestions.

Le Creuset makes a 7 3/4" square one. Link is below!

Blondelle, It just arrived from Amazon, and it is perfect (and I can't believe a lovely piece of LC for only $39.99 in a beautiful hue). Thanks so much.

Elenal, glad you're enjoying it. Happy to have helped, and sweet of you to let me know that! If you season it just like raw cast iron it will build up a patina and release much easier. Even though it's a matte enamel it will still take a seasoning, which makes it easier to clean. Happy cooking!

Thanks for the tip, Blondelle. I was wondering about exactly that issue as I've never had a LC pan, though I have lots of cheap, basic raw cast iron. You've made my life easier.

I found a small cast iron grill pan at Walmart. Perfect for two people.

I had the same problem with storing my cast iron, did you consider hanging it from the ceiling? We hung ours and we love the look of it.
