Oil Spritzer Find

I found some small 2 oz finger tip sprayers in the travel size toiletry bin near the cosmetic section of my local Walmart. They are designed and advertised as an ideal size for airport carry-on. I've been using them to store my homemade flavored oils in the refrigerator. They are only fifty cent each and don't take up much room on the shelf. Add favorite herbs and/or spices (chili, garlic, basil, oregano, lemon, orange peel, etc.) to oil and heat in a small pot until the oil soluble flavor components are released into the oil.........cool........then decant into the oil spritzer bottle. Works great.

Great hint! Do you worry about the plastic being "food safe"? About it emitting any poly-carbons or whatever might be worrysome?

They're made out of PETE plastic so they should be food safe.
