Le Creuset stainless cookware??

Has anyone seen or used this? I really like the look of the handles (not a big fan of the All Clad ones)and it seems to have all of the features that I want. I've ordered a small saucepan to try but wondered if anyone has any firsthand experience. I love the LC pieces that I have now and hope that the quality of this new line will be comparable.

RE: Le Creuset stainless cookware??

I have one piece in my collection; a 10" skillet, with disc bottom and helper handle.

I'm not overjoyed with the handle, frankly, and depend on the helper handle a lot because there's not much to grab hold of on the main handle. But I've been spoiled by the Henckles handle design, so take that FWIW.

The one real drawback is that it doesn't seem to heat evenly.

All in all, though, I don't think I'd buy another piece in this line.

Keep in mind Le Creuset stainless is sourced from Asia..... it's a fairly high price to pay for cookware that isn't All Clad. Compare the balance between the two and you will have an idea of how the aluminum core is distributed..... much better in All Clad.

KitchenAid makes a great clad line, if you can find it as well.
