any recommendations on a good quality panini maker?

Take a brick, wrap it in foil like a Christmas package, spray it with a little nonstick foil, and put it on your sandwich which has been placed in a hot, oiled skillet.

I just use two of my cast-iron skillets. Can't see spending that kind of money on something that would get such limited use as a panini press.

I bought this one. A little pricey, but very versatile. Panini or open grille, and flat plates make it a flat press or opne griddle. Great for pancakes...

Thank you photobob. I have a lot of those BB&B coupons. I'll use them. Given our family's food preferences, I think this will be a big help to me.
