Fontignac enameled cast iron dutch ovens

I have a Le Creuset pot and love it. I decided to get a larger oval roaster and bought a Fontignac at Bed Bath and Beyond for a much cheaper price than Le Creuset. I had read good things about it.

When I got it home I realized it had a small pinhole blemish in the enamel that went down to the cast iron. I wrote the company and they said that it would be fine.

Well, when I decided to keep the thing, and put the lid on it, I realized that it was too loose and wouldn't seal.

I returned it.

I have since read online that others have found this problem with Fontignac pot lids.

Anyone else here find that a problem? The price is so much cheaper than Le Creuset, I would love it to work out some time.
