Commercial Hard Anodized are better quality than the Classic. I have a boat load of the Commercial and Professional line. They are both outstanding.

I believe Classic was designed for mass appeal. I'd avoid it.

I agree........avoid the Classic. I love the commercial/professional piece I have.

what about contemporary nonstick hard anodized?

I haven't tried the contemporary line. I've handled it in the store and it's not as sturdy as the commerical/professional lines. Might not be bad for pancakes, eggs, grilled sammies but that's probably it.
