Tri-Ply Clad from Sams Club pot burned when the water evaporated and turned black. Bon Ami is not getting it out. How can I get my shiny pot back?

I would try Bar Keeper's Friend. Follow the directions for tough stains. It is only a few bucks so worth a shot.

Have you already boiled up a pot of water with a tablespoon of washing soda? For me, once the water cools again often the black just sloughs off.
