Is the current Seal-a-meal worth buying?

I have found the need to buy a vacuum sealer, and since there is the need to save liquids, I need one with an accessory port. That means, only FoodSaver and Seal-a-Meal would fit that requirment.

Seal-A-Meal is significantly cheaper (by $20+), and possibly they come from the same factory (both brands are owned by Jarden), but does that mean the current Seal-A-Meals are worth buying?

Thanks in Advance!

You might check Consumer's Guide at the library.
