Need advice from All-Clad MC2 users

IÂm considering buying some pieces of All-Clad MC2 to add to my collection of cookware. My question is; will the non anodized aluminum from the exterior of the MC2 rub off on to the very rough grates of my burners? I donÂt want my black grates to have silver colored aluminum deposits on them. I have one old piece of non anodized T-Fal cookware that I used once on my new range top and it left aluminum on the black grates that will not come off. It looks terrible.

The grates on your burner are probably harder than the non-anodized aluminum so friction between the two will leave aluminum deposits on the harder surface. Anodized aluminum is harder than anything your grates are likely to be made of so the grates leave deposits on the anodized aluminum. These deposits are easily removed with a little BarKeeper's Friend.
