electric griddle that is NOT non stick?

I am new to this site and am in the process of ridding my kitchen of all non stick pans. My friend has a nifty electric countertop griddle and the griddle pan itself was stainless steel and NOT made of non stick material. It was OLD...her mother's. I would love to find something like this but am ready to give up. Any ideas where I can find one??

I have a smooth top electric stove and I suppose I could consider a stainless stovetop griddle as well but I wanted it so I could make a good batch of pancakes.

Thanks you all!!

The only griddles that I've seen that don't have a non-stick surface are the commercial griddles, and they are very, very expensive. You best bet would be to hang out at the Goodwill or Salvation Army stores and see if you can pick up an old one that way.
