Panini Grill Recs?

I'm looking to make some hot sandwiches for my toddlers. They love melted cheese! With warmer weather I prefer not to use the oven. I'm thinking of getting a panini grill. Would you suggest an electric or stove top? Brands and model suggestions appreciated!

RE: Panini Grill Recs?

I have a Cuisinart Griddler, cheapest price perhaps from Costco, and it performs well. Plain ol' grilled cheese sammies just need a frying pan, tho. You don't need to spend $90 to make those. But if you want to make real panini, check it out. I like the fact the the grilling plates (both smooth and ridged) come out for very easy clean up. I would not buy anything without removable plates.
