Seeking suggestion of wok for frying food.

Now many resources say teflon under high temperature produces carcinogenic gas. I am wondering what kind of wok I should buy. We did a lot of frying to prepare meals. Is iron wok also not good enough? I once read an article in Reader's Digest saying intake of too much iron would increase a man's risk of cardiovascular disease. It was found that men with severe heart disease have high doposition of iron in their heart.

Maybe iron wok is still a better choice compared to the teflon one. How about carbon steel wok? I don't know. I am currently using a teflon one and would like to replace it. Better to have a wok which can also be used on ceramic top cooktop. Because I am ready to change my current coil one.

Any suggestion of wok for frying food would be greatly apprecaited. Please also let me know where I can buy it.

I would be dumping that teflon wok in a heartbeat!!
I use a carbon steel wok....not sure where you got your info about men being at risk for heart disease because of what may leach out of food from a carbon steel wok...but I think it is a huge overstatement.
Dump the teflon.....go to China town and get a cheap carbon steel wok and season it well.....heat it blazing hot.....and enjoy your healthy woked food.
