Wine Stain (off topic) sorry

I was just wondering how to get a wine stain out of a granite counter top. I looks like it seeped into the granite somehow. I wonder if BKF will do the job, but I'm afraid to ruin the stone. Any ideas. Thank you so much.

Post over on the kitchens...I know several people have tested granites.

You could ask the folks at Stone Advice--although I often cannot access their server for some reason. Also, Google "poultice granite." The answer may be specific to your type of granite. Don't use BKF. You need to draw the wine out of the granite, not abrade the surface of the stone.
