Just wondering if anyone here has the newest Technivorm coffee maker (MoccaMaster). Does the glass carafe model have an auto-off switch for the hot plate? (I am worried about leaving a carafe on the hot plate and returning home to burned coffee.) Thanks for any help! (I will also post this in the "appliances" forum.) -- Nean |

| Thanks for asking, momj. The Technivorm doesn't have an auto-off switch. However, it was pointed out to me that a regular old timer (can be purchased at a hardware store) could be used. We ended up buying the Technivorm, and so far, so good. Thanks! |
