Scratches on Stainless

Posted by maxwellfish (My Page) on

Pardon me if this has been asked before, but I could not find the answer anywhere.

Is there a way to remove scratches from the polished exterior of stainless cookware, for example, the outside of All Clad Stainless, or even polished flatware that has been scratched up?

I appreciate any and all comments, thanks in advance.

The only way I know of is with a buffing wheel loaded with jeweler's rouge. Even then it takes quite a while.
