Sub honey for sugar in rolls?

Seems to be a day for roll questions. After checking out Sols Honey rolls it made me wonder about using honey in the recipe that I use.

Could an equal amount of honey be substituted for the sugar in the roll recipe?

It is Martha Stewart roll recipe in which the first time that I made it used all three of the eggs in the dough by mistake and now like the rolls with all three eggs. But add approx. another cup of flour.

Ingredients

1/4 cup warm water (115 degrees)

2 packets (1/4 ounce each) active dry yeast

1 1/2 cups warm whole milk (115 degrees)

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted, plus more for bowl and pans

1/4 cup sugar

2 1/4 teaspoons salt

3 large eggs

6 to 6 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled), plus more for work surface
