Good score Brad. Deviled eggs--easy, enjoyed by many.

I use mine frequently as my extended family likes jalapeno deviled eggs. My newest find is one you can fill the bottom with crushed ice to keep the eggs cold or flip it over to serve crudites.

Brad, that's a great find for you. I like devilled eggs a lot, I don't know why I don't think to make them more often. My family likes them plain or with bacon, kind of a finger food type "bacon and eggs".

I have a couple. One is Easter themed and holds eggs with "bunny" salt and pepper shakers in the middle. One is brightly colored and has a chicken that sits in the center to hold dip or whatever and one is brown dripware to match a bunch of other brown dripware that I have. None of them work very well to carry eggs anywhere, as they are all glass/ceramic types. One with a lid would be very handy with all the food you take to the theater!

Nice find! A mild flavored variation is using approx. 1/2 red chile sauce and 1/2 mayo.

I will try to get a picture of it posted soon. It has 15 spaces to hold eggs on the outer ring, and the inner ring holds 9 eggs. The lid fits very securely and the plastic is rather sturdy.

Annie, those deviled egg dishes sound wonderful to have at a gathering, but you're right, they don't sound quite right for the job of carrying them somewhere.

You will get a lot of use from that carrier. I bought 2 from Tupperware years ago that hold 16 deviled egg halves each & use them all of the time.

It seems that I'm the designated "deviled egg bringer"!

I don't mind because they are quick & easy to make & most people like them.

I just saw something like that recently, not sure where. They also had one with dip and chip compartments. Nice to find something affordable that can be re-used instead of the disposable ones. Such a problem finding a good bake-store-serve-travel container. Good find!

Reminds me of a summer with lots of pot luck bbq's. A group of us competed in finding the ugliest yard sale food containers so we would not take our 'favorites' and forget them. This way we could leave the 'uglies' behind and that person would be stuck with it, lol. The uglies still get passed around to this day. I have a blue glass bowl that food looks awful in....but the lid is so darn good and tight, (sigh).

Well, today I found something else I have been longing for: my first Bundt pan! It's a 9 inch pan and they had them on sale at our one local grocery store :-).

Whenever I'm making deviled eggs, I take them "deconstructed"... knowing host/hostess wil have a platter for them. I mix up the yolk stuff and put i zip bag. Whites in another. Then just fill plate with whites, snip tip of zip bag, and squeeze yolk mixture into them. Easy to refill platter that way.

klseiverd, that's a good idea, the eggs don't get "mooshed" up that way.

Brad, I know you'll use your new utensils a lot and enjoy them. I happen to like bundt cakes, they're easy to slice just a bit or a big piece if you want more, and they are generally moist and delicious.

You really found some good deals this week, Brad. I have two dishes for deviled eggs, but neither is covered. Might have to hit up a Dollar General after the sleet and freezing rain from the storms coming in tomorrow and Friday melt off.

I think you'll enjoy your new bundt pan, too. I really like mine.
