Shipping Oreo truffles

One of my relatives brought strawberry oreo truffles to Thanksgiving. They were sooooooo good. (I know this is probably sacrilege to the real chocolate truffles).
They are just a bag of oreos crushed up and mixed with a bar of cream cheese. Then they're rolled into balls and dipped in melted chocolate.
I would love to send the mint version of these to a friend of mine, but it would probably take 2-4 days to get to her.
Would this be a bad idea since they have cream cheese in them?
Sometimes I think we're a little too worried about those things, but I thought I'd get your opinion about it.
I wouldn't send them in summer, but winter would hopefully be cold enough.....but you never know where they're stored along the way.
Thanks for your input!

I wouldn't hesitate to send them. I'm a wild one though..smiles. Lots of places ship things with cream cheese in them that aren't refrigerated during shipping. They'll be fine.

RE: Shipping Oreo truffles

I would send them...this time of year the weather is colder and I think they would be fine.

I'll be waiting and I promise to get them out of the mailbox right away.
Go ahead and send them!! :)
