Comments (11)A Richard ergo grip safety razor scraper is what I reach for first when cleaning any Ceran cooking surface. I run the blade over the entire surface, just like a wood plane, using both hands, from one front corner to the other. Then I lift the blade, go back to the start and shift over to the next "lane" and keep doing it until finished up on a lane from back corner to back corner. When the blade tells you it is finding something "good" to work on lane after lane it is useful to flip the razor over every couple of lanes. Also try scraping any areas that gave the blade a hard time earlier from front to back as well when finished to check that the resistance is gone. I know someone whose motto is: "A Ceran top and politics have a lot in common, both can seem quite clean but when you start scraping them you may be surprised at what shows up". Cerama Bryte should be the last cleaning step, not the first, and it should be buffed away before it is completely dry. There are quite a few substitutes like the eraser in a pinch. Vim works well but don't let it dry on you, and it leaves oily streaks that will buff away after left for a day or so or go away eventually on their own. Comments (74)One thing that everyone can begin looking at is this: Biofilms. Biofilms are these gnarly, sticky mats of congealed mucus where candida, bacteria, and other pathogens hide out. If you have reoccurring infections or infections that simply will not go away, then you likely have a biofilm in the infected area. Candida behaves much like a biofilm in this it is systemic and can spread all throughout your body. In order to get rid of biofilms in your nasal pasageways you need to be ready to go to war. The latest remedy, which people are swearing by that works, involves baby shampoo of all things. It's a 'surfactant' I believe is the word. And you use it in nasal irrigation: 1/2 table spoon of it in water, mix it with a neilmed rinse kit, use the saline packet that comes with it, and follow the normal directions. You can follow it with an allicin rinse as well. Allicin is the extract from garlic and has been shown to help breakdown and eliminate biofilms. You basically break open and pour one capsule (do not use the empty capsule) into the mix, add the saline packet, and use as directed. I believe that's it. In the meantime you'll want to think about fortifying your body from biofilms and candida (candida infections can be denoted by fungus growth in toenails, thrush on your tongue and throat, sinus infections, chronic fatigue, depression, dark circles under eyes, and many more). Grapefruit seed extract is really good for this. Buy somme Nutribiotics Grapeseed extract and pour a few drops in water in the AM and PM and drink it down. Also, any kind of citrus fruit extracts you can add to it. Agrisept L could be one of the greatest products of all time for breaking down biofilms in the body. This is just about an all in one anti fungul, bacteria, candida (yeast), and more. Comments (8)Kennel cough is like that of our colds, it is a virus and should be treated by a vet, tests need to be done to confirm it is a virus. You should alert the breeder, kennel cough is passed on because of unsanitary conditions. Comments (9)Yes, mine did that too, it was very smelly, I turned on the attic fan and sucked it all out. Then the oven blew a fuse about 2/3 of the way thru the cycle and the oven and clock and timers wouldn't work until it was repaired. We had company that weekend, I was not happy.At least the burners would still work, but I was ticked. After googling it, found out that that wasn't all that rare, but it still made me mad that I had to have a repairman come fix it. Now I know the part number and we can do it ourselves if it happens again. Repairman suggested doing a shorter cycle and pulling it out from the countertops so it won't get TOO TOO hot and overheat and blow another fuse. Don't buy Samsung appliances, that's my new motto. :)...See MoreLars
