| I finally got around to making these and as I type the second baking is in the oven. But.... I added 1 1/2 cups of toasted almond slivers and a good hanful of choc. chips. Formed my logs, but they did not spread out and the top cracked. Since I put the dough together while I was waiting for some puff pastry to defrost, I did let this sit, but no more than an hour and the kitchen was cool.I am going to have a bunch of mini biscotti but the flavor is great. Not too sweet either, since there is no sugar on top. The puff stuff became savory palmiers and tomorrow will be cheesecake day. And I am done baking for this year! Thanks for posting this recipe Annie! |

| Done baking and it's 3 days before Christmas? I was still baking today, LOL. I need to make some more of that biscotti, though, I'm thinking of adding some spices for a gingerbread type or maybe mini-chocolate chips and some dried cherries... Merry Christmas, biscotti would make a great breakfast! Annie |
