My Very First Bundt Cake

Hi everyone,

I made my first Bundt cake yesterday. I just ate a slice of it for brunch and it was delicious! It called for a box of yellow cake mix (I used the butter yellow kind), a can of peach pie filling, 1/4-1/2 tsp. almond flavoring (I used vanilla instead and I used 1/2 tsp.), 4 eggs, and a 1/3 cup of oil. You mix everything but the pie filling together, and then fold in the pie filling. A handy tip was to cut the peaches in the pie filling in half before folding into the batter, which I did. Then you bake it for 55 minutes or until done (it was done for me after 55 minutes). Cool completely and remove from pan. Mum used a plastic butter knife to loosen it from the pan.

I used my newest Bundt pan (not the one I posted a picture of, but one that came in a kit from Wal-Mart. The cake mix that came with it, I'll bake for my neighbor for Christmas. Needless to say, I'll be making plenty of Bundt cake in the future lol.
