Dried cherries with or without cocoa nibs

I'm making a variety of slice and bake cookies using the Smitten Kitchen recipe (substituting sugar with Swerve sweetener) and have some dried dark sweet cherries to try out.

The question is should I also add cocoa nibs or leave the cookies with just the cherries? The truth is I'm lazy...I don't want to make a few with and without the nibs then decide. And I don't want to use chocolate chips...too many carbs. So I'll go with the most votes!

I've already made a batch with cocoa plus the nibs so there will be chocolate just not in the same bite!

I've also made a batch with orange zest and dried cranberries.

This is an adventure for me as most of my cookie recipes use almond flour or some sort of nuts. But my niece's toddler son has developed a nut allergy so I'm building a nut-free recipe box.

Thanks for your input!
