Turning Pumpkin Muffins into bread pudding - help

I have some pumpkin muffins that I want to turn into bread pudding. The muffins were purchased at the bakery and are disappointingly bland.

I plan to use my standard bread pudding recipe (below) minus the raisins, but replacing the french bread with pumpkin muffins. Are there any spices that you would add? I don't own and don't want to purchase pumpkin pie spice.

The pumpkin cheesecake I made used ginger, allspice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Should I add those spices?

1 pound loaf French bread
1 quart milk
3 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups sugar
2 Tablespoons vanilla
1 cup seedless raisins
3 Tablespoons melted butter

Pre heat oven to 325. Break bread into small chunks and put in large bowl. Add milk. Let soak appx. 10 minutes. Crush with hands until well mixed. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla and raisins.

Melt butter in 13x9x2 pan. Spoon pudding mixture into pan. Bake at 325 for 30 -45 minutes or until firm. Let cool. Cut into cubes. Spoon cubes into dishes, cover with sauce.

My standard sauce is a bourbon sauce. I think that'll work with this recipe.
