The Italian apple cake recipe was a success. I decided to follow the recipe and only use the one and a half cup almond flour.
The apples stayed at the top. It five minutes early and kept checking, at five minute intervals. Not sure if it was an extra ten or fifteen. The cake has a marzipan taste which both my daughters like, so they enjoyed this cake.
