Does anyone bake or cook with stevia here?

Hi,

I have a banana bread recipe where I want to replace the sugar with liquid stevia leaf extract. (I just bought a pack of dried stevia leaves, the instructions say it can be boiled in water and strained to extract a sweetener syrup.

I tasted it, it is sweet but has a different sort of after-taste because of which I am unable to decide how much to use in order to replace sugar in the recipe.

Has anyone used it and can help?

If my recipe calls for a 3/4th cup of brown / white sugar, how much liquid stevia extract can I use in place? I think I can adjust other liquids to keep the solid liquid ratio close to the original recipe.
