Thank you all for the very kind birthday wishes. And thank you Jessy, for starting this thread and for emailing me to let me know it was here!

I miss this place very much, but once I get started, I'm here for hours, so for the time being I must stay away or get sucking in to the great CF time warp!

I am 1/4 of the way through my last year of schoolwork/supervised practice to become a Registered Dietitian. I'm at a large hospital/university school of medicine and to say that the program is competitive and challenging is an understatement. I'm in the hospital 4 days a week, in class 1 day a week and have hours of homework every night. I'm learning a lot and really, really enjoying the work. I could live without the homework though!

Ironically, since I've been studying nutrition, I haven't had much time to cook for my family! It will get better though. Next August.

Thanks again for the kind birthday wishes. I hope to be back in the mix one day!
