Favorite commercial marmalade?

I saw Casa Giulia Italian Marmalade offered at a good price and wondered if anyone has it and if so was it good?
What brand of marmalade do you recommend?

Thanks for the heads up. The website says it's from Sicily, I'll give it a try when I'm there next week! I'm just being a snob LOL.
But I will look for it as I love to go to grocery stores in foreign countries, but what CF member doesn't.

I found Braswell's Orange Marmalade in a T J Maxx store a while back and thought it was very good, the best I have ever had.

I just saw a cute one where talking animals drive in a rented Prius through a wilderness. I liked the superbowl commercial of the cowboys herding cats across the range. This is still on YouTube Another great one on YouTube is the BBC's april fools day flying penguins. Look it up under BBC Penguins. Great fool the eye computer work and feels just like a british nature documentary. I also am a big fan of the Budweiser Clydesdale ads and the photography/cinematography is always near perfection.

I like all the Petsmart ads, and the Slowskies. I still like the Geico ads, but I mute Joan Rivers. Never did like her! In fact, I mute nearly all the commercials, once I have seen them, except those few favorites. The boy in the Kia ad is no doubt a good dancer, but there is nothing about the ad that would make me have an interest in the car. A lot of the ads are like that though. There is a local ad for a lawyers' firm that I have to laugh at every time I see it. The "lawyer's" expressions are, here's that word again, Priceless! Wildchild, or anyone watching the Slowskies ad re the meet and greet thing: What is the dialogue after Mr S says " Oh, you do use Comcast 'cause its faster? Then Mrs S says something, and I can't seem to understand what she says. I laugh anyway. Sue

Guess I'm just not watching as much TV anymore but I haven't seen many of these. Don't have a favorite at least that's been broadcast in recent history. 20+ years ago there were some really good commercials on TV and radio too for that matter but now it's mute or change channels. Least favorite: Political ads, that asinine St. Jude's commercial when mommy goes "I'M SCARED TOO!" (but at least it seems they pulled that - there's a different one now), any feminine "freshness" or the Viva Viagra commercials. (Elvis must be spinning in his grave... unless they gave him a Cialis when he died.) And I don't give a hoot about "Little" Jimmy's Johnson, sheesh. Even Terry Bradshaw wouldn't do that commercial. I want to say grow up but there'd be an unintended pun there. At least now there's a good reason for weight gain. Going to get snacks during commercials. Bring back the cigarette commercials. They were creative and entertaining at least. Frank Bartles and Ed Jaymes, we need you now more than ever though the Betty White & Abe Vigoda Snickers commercial is not bad.

It is really cool you've heard and seen this one develop. I am one of those that has to carry the pen. When I saw the new one I thought it was great that it "talks" you through the process, but honestly, it's looks no less bulky to carry around? Wonder if men and women see it differently (bigger pockets), as I still couldn't put it in my pocket :( That makes it no less handy for me. And I haven't held it. I might feel differently. Best of luck! I do like that it can help save fingers, toes, hands, feet and bums.

i make my own marmalade but prior to taking that terrible job on...it really is a pain.....I always bought Robertson's Golden Shred.

I've never heard of Casa Giulia, however our favorite is always Dundee. It's costly, however there is not even a hint of bitterness-- it's made from Seville Oranges. Runners up include Mackay's and Trader Joe's (which is probably made by Mackay).

I like Dundee too, which I've only found locally a few times, and have SMUCKER'S Orchard's Finest Pacific Grove Orange Marmalade Medley in the refrigerator right now. I like it because it's a nice blend of fruit and spread, and it's made with sugar. It's very much like what my mother made. -Grainlady

Thanks for the good info. If TJ Maxx doesn't have Braswells I'll head over to Trader Joe's.

Actually I have also been looking for a commercial marmalade. I usually can a year's worth of marmalade using the fantastic oranges (Murcotts- cross between a tangerine and a sweet orange) from my brother's grove. They make the perfect blend of tart and sweet.

I didn't make any this year but should have as Florida is forecast to have a serious threat from citrus greeningÃ¢ÂÂ disease next season.

Dundee is the marmalade of choice here -- Orange,Three-Fruits, and even Key Lime! Wegman's carries them, and they're also available through Amazon.

Here it seems that Smuckers is the only brand that I can find with any regularity. It's OK...

I really like the Mackay's and the Crosse and Blackwell brands, so I stock up when I go to Grand Rapids, or I make my own. I made some last year with some Meyer Lemons from Beachlily and it was amazing. I didn't share. (grin)

Bought a 4 lb. bag of oranges today. Hmmm ....

Discovered on a jar of Crosse and Blackwell cranberry chutney that is owned by Smuckers.
