How to cook a pre-brined turkey?

Posted by linnea56 (My Page) on

I have read on here about people brining their turkeys. I have not tried that myself. I am doing a very basic Thanksgiving for only 8 people. Trader Joes advertised pre-brined turkeys and I bought one.

Is there any difference in how this should be cooked? I will be roasting it UN-stuffed. Thanks!

Linnea, roast it the same way as a non-brined turkey.

Keep an eye on it when it's cooking. I find my brined turkeys always cook quicker than I expect them to.
