GF Pie Crust--An Egg per Martha?

I've tried Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Pie Crust Mix, and didn't like it. So I was googling around and found a Martha Stewart recipe with an egg.

It makes sense, since there's no gluten to make things hold together, to use an egg.

Has anyone tried this? Does it come out well?
